J. C. Adamson's
Classes at
The Art Institute of Colorado

The Colorado Institute of Art was founded in 1952. Decades later, it became part of The Art Institutes International, owned and operated by Education Management Corporation (now privately held).  In 1998, the name of the school was changed to The Art Institute of Colorado .  It is on an urban campus at the edge of downtown Denver. The Institute's thousand plus students study with over a hundred faculty in a variety of media, art, and culinary programs.

For ten years, J. C. Adamson taught in the Communication Technology program, in the General Education Department, and occasionally in other departments. His classes included:

  • Marketing
  • Introduction to Copywriting
  • Advertising & Promotion
  • Psychology of Color

He also taught Composition, Speech, Algebra, and College Mathematics.
